PGCTA Organizational License Plates
The Maryland Vehicle Administration (MVA) is issuing organization license plates for the Prince George's County Tennis Association (PGCTA). If your vehicle is registered in the state of Maryland, you can now show your Prince George's County tennis pride through your vehicle tags. What better way is there to display your passion for tennis?
A little about the license plates: first, current MVA rules allow for only two-letter designations on organization plates. Previously, an organization could select three letters, i.e. "ACE" or "NET". Unfortunately, there are very few two-letter designations still available. After careful consideration of the few remaining options, the decision was made to select "QQ". This selection was based on the idea that the two Qs could be thought of as two racquets.
The MVA requires the first license plate order to be made in a batch of 25 or more applications. You can request any license plate number between 0002 and 0050. Your request will be granted on a "first come, first served" basis. You may access an application for your license plate below. Once 25 applications and payments have been received (and we are close to that number), the batch order will be submitted to MVA for processing. The cost of the license plate is $25.00.
Mail your application and payment to the PGCTA, PO Box 1672, Temple Hills, MD 20757-1672 and include your requested license plate number. (If your requested license plate number has already been taken, you will be given the next available number.) Checks are to be made payable to Maryland Vehicle Administration.
